Settling into the Season: Peak season is behind us now and the mornings are downright chilly. The gardens have shed their summer glory. But while the gardens may be going dormant, we certainly are not. Now is the time for planning, pruning, and planting out bulbs and perennials. It’s the perfect time to start thinking about how to bring that beauty into your home for the holidays and prep for the spring.
Winter in the Glasshouse: Let’s be honest. When it’s truly cold outside, the glasshouse is where we want to be. Throughout the darker months, we’ll be hosting intimate workshops and classes—wreath making is coming soon, along with a workshop on how to set a holiday table that feels personal and organic. Not like something you bought on the internet. Join us for those, and other hands-on sessions for people who like making things. We’re not waiting for spring to make something worth keeping.

Saturday Morning Yoga

Winter Garden Prep

‘Tis the season to wrap it up for winter.
This workshop covers how to find, save and store seeds, plus pruning basics—where to cut, what to look for, and why plants actually love it.
Gardening is personal. Some people love it wild, others like it tidy. Your garden has a winter aesthetic whether you realize it or not. We’ll help you discover what you’re drawn to and the pros and cons of each approach.

Macro Photography Class
November 8 | 12-2pm | $45
Get up in there!
In this class we get up close and personal with what’s left in the garden. You’ll want a camera for this one ideally, but we’ll cover phone photography too.
Learn about close-up focusing, depth of field, patterns in nature and how to use light. This class will sharpen your eye for detail and help you notice things you’ve been walking past all season.

Holiday Wreath Workshop
November 15 | 12-2pm | $65
Learn how to build a pretty seasonal wreath, which materials work (and which ones don’t), and how to layer texture and color without it looking like a craft store exploded. We’ll also cover techniques for wiring, bundling, and securing everything so it lasts through the holidays.
We’ll work together to create a wreath you’ll actually want to hang on your door. Plus, you’ll leave with all the knowledge you need to make this a new tradition—you’ll learn what to keep your eyes peeled for throughout the year to save for your holiday creations.

Holiday Table Design

Get in a festive mood without the fuss.
Learn how to create beautiful, inexpensive, organic table settings for your holiday gatherings. We’ll cover the rules of thumb (don’t put giant arrangements in the middle of the table) and share simple tricks to pull together something that looks intentional—not like you panic-bought everything at the grocery store while picking up your turkey.
Hint: you’d be better off foraging in your own yard.
Walk away knowing how to make it look good without overthinking it.
